Position Description:

We are seeking a passionate Junior ASP.NET Developer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our web applications using Microsoft's ASP.NET framework. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of software development, basic problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using ASP.NET.
• Write clean, maintainable code under the supervision of senior developers.
• Learn and adhere to coding standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of IT, Associate Director of IT and Application Developer to understand and execute development tasks.
• Participate in code reviews and learn testing and debugging of software applications.
• Provide support to team members under guidance.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and software development best practices.
• Collaborate with other staff members to address needs as they arise, adjusting schedules and ensuring coverage of essential functions in our small team environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in ASP.net development or related internship experience.
• Basic knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and MVC development.
• Familiarity with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Understanding of SQL server and database design principles.
• Eagerness to learn Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Blazor a plus but not required.
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Razor Pages, jQuery, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Javascript, Bootstrap, Tailwind, Quasar, PrimeVue(Prime Faces), webpack, VueJs, Typescript.
• Backend:
  • (C# Based) ASP.NET 4.x, Net core 3.1, .NET 5-8, Entity Framework, ADO.net, xUnit, Kubernetes
• Platforms
  • MS Azure, AWS, Sendgrid, Formstack, Algolia, Hangfire, Azure Devops

Other:

• Reports to the Director of Information Technology
• Work Location: The CBS Ministry Service Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado
• Weekend or evening work will be required periodically to assist during high volume periods

Starting Salary Range:

• Annual salary range: $65,000 - $75,000
